    Loctite alternative?

I've got a Benelli m4 with a factory c-stock (the skeletonized, normally collapsible one). I rendered it a "fixed" stock by drilling and tapping a hole in the button, and inserting a pin and a setscrew. Problem is, after firing about 50 rounds, the setscrew (6-32 thread, 1/4" long) starts to work itself loose to the point of nearly falling out. I want to find a way to keep the setcrew from working loose, something like Loctite, but more temporary. Something where I can still break the setscrew free easily with the small (very small) allen key when I need to disassemble the shotgun, while still keeping the setscrew in place during normal use. Any ideas?
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Sounds like purple is the way to go, thanks guys!

Quick secondary question, if anyone has any experience with the purple loctite: does it need to be cleaned off and/or reapplied each time the screw is removed and reinstalled?

Loctite 222, Teflon pipe tape works, as does nail polish.

Always best if you do, but residue may be enough for your purposes, hard to say, depends on how much thread engagement you have as well.

all loctite needs to be cleaned off and new loctite applied to threads for proper screw retention.
