Not sure, but it seems those are factory warrantied. I bet they'll replace it.

Send it in to Nikon for repairs. I'd bet the gas is gone too. Here is the number to contact Nikon service. They are only available by phone between 8:00 am and Noon 7 days a week:

I have a few Nikon Monarch scopes, but these days they aren't what they used to be. Sent a new one in for repairs as the contrast was crappy, the focus a bit soft and the adjustments wandered. Nikon returned it in a couple of weeks. The picture was still a bit fuzzy when compared to a Bushnell Elite 4200 or the Leupold I was also shooting that day, but at least it held zero.

For those thinking of purchasing a Nikon scope, grab a copy of almost any online retailer's catalog and check how many pages of refurbished Nikon scopes are offered at a discount. Natchez Shooters Supplies usually has a long list of refurbished Nikons - which gives me pause to ask why so many? Drill down through this list and see what I mean: http://www.natchezss.com/optics/rifl...r=position&p=1 Of course the supply varies depending on how many reconditioned used or refurbished scopes are available. The refurbished scopes have 90 day warranties. There are better brands in my opinion.
