    Akbuilder trunnion drilling fixture problem

I have a 7.62 hungarian trunnion and It won't slide all the way onto the red mandrel. It goes so far and binds up I even had to press it out of the trunnion on one video the guy slid the trunnion right on and off anyone else have this issue? Think I should turn the mandrel down to fit? It stops where the slots end

check your trunnion for burrs, and be sure your mandrel is loose.

          No problems with mine.
I guarantee you have some burrs or a piece of rivet somewhere or a WAY out-of-spec trunion as the expanding mandrels are usually sloppy loose until you tighten the knob.

Sloppy loose? I was wondering about that I measured both pieces and the difference is in .001" so I'll just turn it down till it fits thanks

Ar15barrels: how long does it take you to fully heat treat an ak receiver and also parkerize a complete rifle?

you better figure out if your barrel and trunnion are close to the same size.

It is posible that that AK builder screwed up but it's more likely you have an out of spec trunnion

Barrel and trunnion are press fit within .001-.003 and that was with a virgin 23mm barrel but o well if there's no modification it's not an ak right
