Which 80% ar, 1911, poly, aluminum? As stated you would need to do all the work but you can ask advice from others before you start your work or during as long as you are doing all of the work and they are only providing intellectual assistance.

for the 1911 you would need a good drill press at the least to use as a mill. I would recommend buying their jig and the tooling bits that they sell to assist with it.

If it fits in the phantom jig maybe give that a try? its pricey but less tools and does take more time but I think the end result is worth it!

I would have to recomend a router based universal jig from modulusarms or 80percentarms. And youtube is invalluable also.

a user on here has an extensive build forum page with pictures and specs using a dremel. there are also directions on our website on the jig product page.

I plan to do this all by myself. I don't have the space or tools to do it plus i need the intellectual assistance.
