Bolt Assemblies and Carriers

Well, I like BCM's because it's shot-peened and MPI'd, but it's the bolt assembly alone. BCM's carrier reads AUTO, which concerns me.

Anyway, is there a carrier that's been shot-peened and MPI'd, is that necessary, or should I just pick up any one?
