    Need a Gunsmith

Hi. I have been reading this for some time but am new to posting here.
Can anyone direct me to a good gunsmith in Sonoma County CA. I need some action jobs and sights installed. My old hands cant handle much of this work.

Napa or Marin Counties might be ok if the travel is for a really highly recommended smith. Thanks.

bornproud, thanks. Unfortunately it was not much help but I will keep trying. You would think in three counties in N CA there would be one.

Try Dan Gatley; his website is gatleygunsmithing.com and he's located on Piner Rd. in Santa Rosa. If you want to bring him work you'll need to make an appointment.

He's the only gunsmith that I know of in Sonoma County that has a storefront. There are one or two others who don't have a storefront but I've never used them. Because Dan is pretty much all there is in Sonoma County, he's generally backed up with work. I've seen his work and it is worth waiting for.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Ron at Suron is a great guy. I have purchased from him before, but have not had work done.

Didn't know he was still doing business. Good to hear it!
