1st Time Stippling & Undercut

Hi all,

Just started stippling and doing frame modifications on my pistols and wanted to share and get some feedback. So far I stippled my Kahr and G19 and also did a trigger undercut on the G19. I did a single tip stipple job on the Kahr and a waffle pattern stipple on the G19. Took a little too much off on undercut but I didn't have the right dremel bit at the time so it was a hack job.

Looks great for a first time job! It can only get better! I can't wait to stipple my g19

On the glock undercut, I do them so that the angle of the cut is 90 degrees to the angle of the front of the grip.
This lets your fingers wrap straight into the grip.
Your undercut it a little deep, leaving that angle a little acute.
This means that you have to shift the gun a little to let your middle finger slide up into the undercut.
You might try either filling in a little of that undercut, or cutting the angle more square, but the latter would likely make the triggerguard REALLY thin.

Thank you! To be honest I'm not sure how long it took me. Maybe a couple hours to do everything including the undercut?

What did you use for the waffle pattern?

What did you use for the waffle pattern?

You have to make your own soldering tip using a checkering file to create the waffle pattern on the tip. It sounds hard but it wasn't that bad. Find a brass tip to use as your template. The brass is soft and really easy to cut the checkering into.
