    Tactical Carbine - Level 1 - $160 - 1/6/2024 - Lytle Creek

Have a carbine or lever rifle you use for self-defense? We finally combined these classes together in one class and show how to use both in a tactical environment. Want to learn how to use it with a bullet button in a rapid manner? The carbine has become a mainstay in America and it is critical if you own one that you know how to use it effectively especially as part of a system. This a beginning to intermediate level class that will teach you how to integrate the carbine as part of your defensive strategy. Students will start with zeroing their carbine, work through individual drills, weapon retention, and slicing the pie. Attendees will need 250+ rounds of carbine / lever rifle ammo, weather appropriate clothing (we shoot rain or shine), chair, drinks / snacks, and eye / ear protection. Cost for the course is $160 which is payable by cash, check, money order, credit card, or prepay through the website here. Reserve your spot in the class by January 3rd at 5pm. Please contact me with any questions you might have.

Why are you being snippy? It says "Lytle Creek", which is a community located in the San Gabriel Mountains.

"Lytle Creek Firing Line" is the name of the range. The drive is a bit out of the way, but it is a pleasant drive. The road once you leave civilization is not in the best shape, but it is paved pretty much right until you get to the range so you won't have to drive too much on unpaved ground.

Darren is great, this class is great. It really challenged me and made me realize the limitations I have as a shooter. I train more towards competition shooting and this class allowed me to consider the benefits of tactical shooting. Darren also doesn't just say "this is the way and everyone else is wrong" but has reasonable and thoughtful explanations for why he shoots/trains the way he does.
I still do the box drill he teaches when I train now to keep myself honest.
