Our Performance Pistol courses are application agnostic programs to get you safer, faster and more accurate with your handgun. These are not NRA First Steps type classes, nor are they tactical fantasy camp. Courses taught by a USPSA Master class competitive pistol shooter/former SWAT cop.

Pistol Principles I is open to everyone, from beginner to USPSA A class. This is not a competition or tactical focused course. It is a how to be fast and accurate course.

Pistol Principles II is strongly recommended for alumni only. DM for additional info.

Took the PP1 class today and really enjoyed it. The pre-class communication of necessities was great. The actual class structure and pace was well thought out and clearly presented. There was something to learn for the Noobie and also for the more seasoned shooter regarding fundamentals and accuracy.

I witnessed new shooters get more comfortable with grip, recoil and consistently getting on paper. I witnessed great target shooters, who appeared to be comfortable shooting in a static environment, get challenged with time pressures. I also witnessed some experienced match shooters get to develop some additional accuracy that sometimes is not always a requirement of their sport.

While this was not a CCW class, some of the timed distance tests were directly applicable to help with needed CCW skill sets and would make a good foundation for the range portion of other required CCW classes.

All in all, I would strongly recommend this class and do feel it helped me "Shoot Gooder."
