The Santa Margarita Gun Club will be holding a Long Range 3x1000 match on Saturday, 2-7-15 and on Sunday, 2-8-15.

The match will be held on Camp Pendleton, Range 117A.

The deadline to pre-register is Tuesday, 2-3-15.

ILL be back in Pendleton in couple months do I need be pard of the Santa margarita club to participate?

Also I have been shooting at the pistol/rifle range there next to the flight line a couple times.... I have hear that the base was going to allow those gentleman that run that range to open a longer distance range??? Wondering if more have heard the same thing or can confirm?

Regular membership is based off of a 2 active duty to 1 civilian ratio. If regular membership for civilians is full then we have associate memberships. Associate memberships can be purchased for the year or by the match.

The pistol range you are talking about is Range 102 and is operated by MCCS for recreational shooting. I don't know anything about their plans for operating a longer distance range.

The SMGC holds matches on Ranges 103 and 116 up to 600 yards and on Range 117 for 1000 yards. Our schedule is on our website. www.smgunclub.org
