Mini 30 for 3 gun

What do you think of using a mini 30 for 3 gun. I'm still building my AR to the specs I want.

So far I'm going to run my Beretta m9 or my Springfield mc operator. My mini 30 for my rifle. I still haven't picked a shot gun.

Do not use any steel core or steel case ammo when shooting steel targets.
Most all matches now will check your ammo with a magnet. If caught shooting steel ammo on steel targets, DQ, and cost of a new steel target. This is why Mini 30's and AK's are not popular in 3 gun, availability of brass cased ammo, and non steel core bullets ammo.
