    USPSA gun ?

Can I swap out the 9mm Barrel in my glock 34 with a .40s&w barrel and run "Major" or would I have to swap the complete slide to be legal? Thanks

You can run a .40 barrel in a G34 safely? I know you can go the other way.

You can't put a 40S&W barrel on a 9mm upper. The barrel OD is aoubt .022" larger. The entire upper would have to be repalced, and maybe the ejector also if it didn't run right. Why not just run your G34 in Production where everything is scored minor? If you have not yet shot a USPSA match, you should jump in with what you have. There is alot more going on than just the power floor.

...or just buy the STI 40 that just posted for sale.

If it were possible, it would be legal for use in Limited and Limited-10. It would not be legal for Production, nor would it be applicable since Major/Minor scoring isn't used in that division.
