    Front Sight Advanced Tactical Handgun

Hey guys, anyone know if there is still a night portion for the 2d Front Sight Advanced Tactical HG? Got the course coming up, just want to be prepared. Any other thoughts on the course?

Yes to night shoot, it is optional though. They will provide you a flashlight or you may bring yours. If you bring yours it is better to be button on/off without clicks. Basically you push the button and hold it to keep the light on and light should go off once you release the button. Again they provide some basic lights.

You will need knee pads and elbow pads (though you may live without them).

The curriculum is not strictly defined and thus depends on the range master. He or she likely to go with the crowd desires. Some group will dive into action shooting some will do Combat master style exercises.

If you go early september have wide spectrum sunscreen and sports drinks. The sports drinks works better then water in hot weather. I also use scarf.

PS. I recommend to go night shoots. It is fun and educational. I haven't realized how much advantages sig's night sights give me.

Fun class, by all means go to night shoot.

But if you have a weapon mounted light, be sure you have the holster for it.

Not sure if this weekend there would be enough time to go have dinner in town between the end of regular session and the start of night shoot. In the winter, there was only an hour break, so no time to go to town to eat dinner. The food stand is not open for nights.

Yeah, it will be hot. 100 degrees Sunday
