Idpa power factor

I know from the rules what the factors are, question is how will they verify at the state match. Do I just tell the match director what my bullet weight is OR do they pull some and weigh them? I ask because I cast my own from a 124 grain mold but they weigh closer to 128 on average. Maybe they won't ask??? I do not know so any input would be great.

Couldn't you call/email someone connected to the match and just ask them directly ?? Go straight to the horses mouth so to speak.

Last year they collected 5 (or 3 - don't remember ) rounds from each shooter - pulled and weighed - then chrono'd

I know of at least 1 DQ for under power

I don't think you get DQed for not making power factor, you just get to shoot for fun, no score. I could be wrong with all the strange rules and changes to the rules in IDPA. USPSA not DQed, just shoot for fun.

They "should" pull one of the cartridges you provide for testing and weigh it. However, I have shot sanctioned matches where they just asked me.
