Does anyone recognize this training outfit

They do some funky vehicle-borne drills. I dare say, some would probably argue that the drills are borderline dangerous, especially to a camera man standing in front.

At the start of the video the title states "Wardoggs Firearms Training". Not much Google hits on that name locally. Also it looks like Burro Canyon and the intructors are wearing red NRA shirts. Maybe its not a real training outfit but some friends just having some *fun*..

Skip to 12:15 onwards for the interesting bits... I'll call it the Al-Qaeda ambush drill

I am sure some of them would be Calguns members. No disrespect Bro's !

Are they suppose to be using cover?...

Some of those people shouldn't be running those drills...I saw at least one finger on trigger. Instructors should be aware of safety esp. in regards to the drills and shooter's skill level.

Aren't there laws regarding shooting out of a vehicle? Or is that only for moving vehicles?

There's a guy with only a few videos on youtube if him and his friends just having fun, but the production quality is pretty decent.

      Example:

      Distinguished Rifleman #1924
NRA Certified Instructor (Rifle and Metallic Cartridge Reloading) and RSO
      NRL22 Match Director at WEGC

At least one is wearing a badge on his belt. LEO? I agree that it looks like Burro Canyon.

I could bash these guys for the cluster duck that is there "training" cadre but you know, 0F2G

IN all seriousness though, why bother shooting such poorly setup/constructed stages as a training scenario- hell if you want to run the carbine in a tacticle manner try going to one of the Phantom Strike matches at Rahaugees or even the weekly USPSA matches. I'm sure you would pull much more from those than spending a day just slinging lead at a hill.

As far as the guys in that video wearing RSO shirts while shooting, it's my opinion that if you are the RSO, you are an RSO and an RSO only during that period. You shouldn't be live firing because you're supposed to be maintaining safety during the activities.

Granted, safety is everyone's responsibility, but by wearing gear that IDs you as the RSO, you are signaling to everyone that you are the RSO on duty. Take off the shirt if you're not the designated RSO and are going to live fire.
