Competition Gear Question

So I attended the rifle only match at WEGC on May 24th and had a great time, but I learned a few things about having the proper gear to run in a competition.

I saw a lot of people using what appeared to be some AR15 mag pouches made of kydex and was wondering if someone can point me in the direct of a quality mag pouch for a decent price. Thanks!

Blade-Tech and Safariland both make great products. If you want ease of use, I'd go Blade-Tech with their Tek-Lok attachment. Makes it easy to put them on and and take off with a regular belt.

My son has a Safariland and I have a Bladetech. I think they're both about $30. The Safariland is usually available at Turners with a techlok. Bob could probably verify this one way or the other.

I didn't think that Safariland was using TekLok since they have their own ELS system which requires the use of a Safariland belt. Either way, Turners carries both Blade-Tech and Safariland but you can also go online to stores like Shooters Connection (http://www.shootersconnectionstore.c...ches-C329.aspx) and they'll have everything you need.

I dont know If you can put an Teclock on the safari land holster but I know for a fact you can put an ELS fork on the bladetech. Both are great options for 3 gun. Oh and BTW, you have prob opened pandoras box. Once you get into 3 gun your wallet gets pretty light!

The Safariland teklok equivalent is the 774, it's similar but not exactly the same.
