    uspsa production upgrades

I'm pretty sure that as far as upgrades go, for uspsa production, you can't have external upgrades. Correct me if I'm wrong here. So from what I understand, I can upgrade the trigger, sights, and mag plug. Is this all?
Also what upgrades have you production guys done? What do you guys recommend for a gen3 or Gen4 glock 34. (I know there is a difference between the 2. I have the gen3 and my friend has the gen4.)
    Thanks in advance!

^^^ so I stand corrected. What does a mag plug do anyways? What advantage would it give you?
MAD SVT nice setup. I like that digital red paintjob(that must make it way more accurate ). And just to clarify all that is ok in production?
How did you guys pick what lb spring to go with in your glock? Why 12lbs over 14lbs?

It fills the hole and adds a little weight. In my case, as a back up gun, it holds the mag well on.

With 9mm At 12 lbs the nose doesn't dip at all when it cycles, it probably takes a couple extra nanoseconds for the slide to cycle but I prefer how flat the sights stay when it cycles, I had the 14 before, and I use it on my 40 cal.
And yes the paint job makes it much faster.

The grip plug doesn't do anything other than fill the void that some people think glock overlooked, but according the the rule book, since it's not a factory or aftermarket replacement part, and it doesn't come on any of the similar models, the addition of this part isn't allowed, even though it's not like a magwell to help feed mags, really it's only purpose would be to fill a hole and ADD WEIGHT which isn't allowed.

I haven't modified mine at all, but I thought one of the more common mods is a lighter trigger connector - like this.

You gun doesn't need upgrades, you do. Take competition shooting lessons from a USPSA Grand Master (or IDPA Master) and you will be miles ahead in a very short time. Shooting is 95% mental and 5% gear.

                      On an M&P9:
                      Dawson FO front sight
                      APEX Sear and USB kit
                      Backstrap w/ more stippling

I put skateboard tape on all my baseplates. They get beat up big time, the tape helps a little bit.

OP how did the class go?

Upgrade the trigger and, if needed, the sights, spend the rest on upgrading your skills; it'll pay much bigger dividends on match day

Class was fun. There was only 6 of us. I thought there would have been more. I almost went to the Sunday match but I plan on going to a few practices first. But overall I had a blast. I can't wait to go back!

...and be careful with the grip tape. Nothing on the slide or trigger area.
