Can you elaborate some more with your experience with this trigger? Comparison to Geissele's SD line?

I haven't got to the range yet but what I can tell now it's gonna be hot and versatile. I won't get to the range for a week but I'll post a report.

I really like the 24C. Adjustable pull weight, the shoe position is adjustable and allows for more control over the trigger, less overtravel than an S3G/SD3G, and like any good trigger, zero creep with a suuuuuper crisp break.

so how well did you score at your last 3 gun match with this trigger in Iron?

I have a geissele SD3G that I used all last season and decided to try this out. I took my 24c out on the bench last weekend and so far, I really like it. Short reset, crisp and light. A little better than the SD3G. I also didn't have to alter my shooting style. With the SD3G, I had to firmly pull the trigger and really shoulder the rifle or else I'd bump ire and get doubles. With this trigger I didn't have to do that.

One thing I noticed is the hammer seems to strike the firing pin softer than other triggers. With my reloads with Wolf primers, I'd usually get a few hangfires that would fire less than a second after the firing pin hits the primer (scary sh*t). With the 24c, I had many hangfires with this load and some were about TWO seconds! I also had one round with a good pin strike that didn't fire at all. Almost wanted to stop shooting after that but decided to try my other loads. The loads with CCI #41 primers had no problems at all.

I'm going to take it this weekend to a two gun match and will give it a good testing/breaking in. If all goes well, I might have to sell my SD3Gs in my other rifles.

Umm...you're going to keep the trigger that's not as reliable with your reloads and is picky with primers?

I'm phasing out the wolf primers altogether. After the 100 or so loaded rounds left I'll only be using CCI 41s.

Odd that Hipertouch actually promotes this trigger as hitting primers harder than other triggers. I know you are comparing this to a Geissele SD3G but have you been able to compare this to any other premium triggers.

I wonder how it compares to the JP and the Wilson Combat which I think would be its most likely competitors as single stage triggers. Are you willing to meet up at the range with me to find out if you already haven't? I could even throw in an AR Gold to the comparison. This is assuming you haven't already made the comparison. I may just have to hound you at Raymond's next 3-gun practice.

I think James has shot my AR Gold before. But I am interested in trying his Hyperfire especially after just shooting my SD3G.

You switching from an AR Gold to S3G? If so, why?
