Skeet and Trap competitions

Where are some good skeet and trap tournaments in CA? Where's there a good source to find these competitions? What are the prizes like? Any input will help. Thanks Calguns.

Livermore-Pleasanton Rod and Gun club is one of the premiere trap clubs in the Bay Area with robust set of trap shoots. They often host the PITA state shoot.

I've heard some good things about Livermore, but they only have trap there. I shoot more skeet than trap? What're the prizes for tournaments?

USI/Diablo has some club level shoots and they have a memorial shoot every year as well.. you may want to contact them to see if it has passed yet or is upcoming.. I know they have monthly registered shoots now and then as well.

Yea just saw that on the Livermore site.

You might consider looking into the SouthBay Trap League. It's once a month, second Saturday from February to October, that travels to different clubs in the area. It's just a friendly competition though, if you desire more competition, look into the Amateur Trapshooting Association. There aren't that many skeet tournaments anymore.

Yea it seems like there aren't too many serious skeet shooters out there.
