A couple of buddies (and downright reloading gurus) and I were discussing that due to the current "climate", the amount of prospective new loaders champing at the bit to learn how to load must be significant.
Although every detail hasn't been hashed out yet,the basic thought was to offer a four hour course that included teaching the basics of metallic cartridge reloading (both pistol and rifle), hands on exposure to all types of presses(single, turret, progressive) and equipment (tumblers, powder measures, trimmers, swagers, priming tools, etc etc), and in the end students would load a box of a cartridge of their choice.
All of the education, equipment use and components for all of the above would be included in the price of the class, which would be right at about $100. So, this clearly isn't a money making proposition, more about teaching new loaders and sharing knowledge.
The instructors are certified NRA instructors, but would be teaching from their own developed lesson plan.
Thanks for any feedback or expressed interest for this type of class in the Pasadena area.
