Vickers 1911 operators course Los Angeles May 18-19

Hey guys I signed up for this course in May and was just wondering if any other calgunners are going to be attending? I will be making the drive down from Fresno and would just like to meet some of the people going to the course. Sometimes it's a little awkward not knowing anyone at these things lol. I'm really excited because this will be my first formal class. If anyone has taken this course before I would love to hear your experiences and or advise about of what you took from the course. I would also love to hear how LAV is as an Instructor ie safe but fun or am I going back to basic training lol

I am going to a shooting skills class with Larry Vickers and Rob Leatham in April. It's in Phoenix, Az. I know at least one other cal gunner will be there. I've shot quite a bit of pistol/revolver competition but never gone to a shooting school or training before. Can't wait. I can't imagine either course being anything but awesome. Mark

The shooting class I referred to above has changed. Rob Leatham had to drop out because he injured his shoulder. At first they cancelled the class, but Larry Vickers said he would do an advanced 3 day shooting class with a reduction in price. I'm still going and looking forward to it, although it would have been great with both of them. Mark
