Anyone have a video of loading a shotgun in a 3-gun stage that is more tutorial like and in slow motion?

From the vids I've seen of Jack Boyd loading his shotgun over at madtrigger, the shells look like they were walking into the shotgun from his hand!

Whatever you do, start learning to weak-hand reload from the belt.
I practiced strong-hand from the belt years ago and got real good at it.
Now I am hesitant to switch over to weak hand, even though I now know that weak-hand is where it's at...

Yes.

A pistol grip stock is pretty much required to do this too.
Straight stocks don't let you hold the gun up as well.

I'll be installing my pistol grip back on my benelli shortly and forcing myself to learn weak-hand soon.

I use the Cooley flip and load with my strong hand off the gun and my arm band. Tried the week hand did not like it.
True if you have a pistol grip shotgun weak hand is the way to go. Find what best works for you and practice, 3 gun shotgun is about reloading first, then shooting.

That's how I do it now, but I don't like pulling individual shells from a saddle or arm band so I pull 4 shells at once from the belt.
Weak hand sure looks faster because you can do it while shooting and just feed one or two shells as required.
When you bring the gun down, you had better need to be loading a bunch of shells to make it worth the loss of sight picture.

When you reload the general rule is to load 8. There are plenty of exceptions but you don't want to stop shooting until you can load maximum rounds 8. Don't run to your next shooting position and then load your gun. Move as fast as you can load.

I wish I could grab 4 from my belt holder. Hands are just not big enough, tried with some dummy rounds and they all ended up on the ground. With my fumble factor its just better for me to do the one at a time especially on the move as Randy stated, reload when moving, and if it is a long stage, if I shoot 4 and still have 8 or more targets
to engage, I'll reload the 4 on the move to the next bank of target, I'll "try" to be empty on the last target, if I don't have too many misses.

You know it's funny, for years all I grabbed was three and this weekend for whatever reason I started grabbing 4 and stuffing them in.. from a holder that holds 6.. Previously I did like others, grabbed 4 and they went all over.. I guess with the pressure of the clock I just picked up whatever I could feel for and was surprised when it was 4 I was loading instead of three.

I have practiced with six all along. I used to drop them all the time. I took the firing pin out of my 870 and just practiced practiced practiced in my garage. I also drop the first one in and chamber it and then stuff the rest in the tubel so I only have to hold five when loading them. I do have big hands though.

I can load all 6 into the bottom of my benelli about 25% of the time.
75% of the time, one will be dropped and 5 make it into the gun.

Dropping one into the chamber is cheating.
It also means you ran dry which is a big no-no.
