Question about LUHT Steel Challenge

I'm looking into getting into 3 gun and wanted to practice with my shotgun. Would love to shoot Linea del Fuegos 3 gun but have no rifle ammo. Does anyone know if the Steel Challenge this weekend allows shotgun or is it pistol only? I couldnt find much info on their website.

They seem to allow shotguns for their running steel matches, so I would guess that they'd allow shotgun for their Steel Challenge. But Steel Challenge courses aren't really challenging with a shotgun.

Steel Challenge / 8 stage match is pistol match. Center fire Pistol or rimfire.

Running Steel is a different match, and he allows Birdshot for that.

Besides SSA there is palm spring gun club whom run a shotgun match on the 4th saturday. I hear it is a pretty good match but it is way to far for me nowadays. from the SD area it might be a bit of a trek but it's doable if you need the trigger time.

The Steel Challenge is a pistol match, Ron Jungs match is called Steel Madness, which is different.
