    I feel like an idiot...

    Hey folks,

This is going to sound completely retarded, and I feel like a retard for asking, but I bought some CR Speed mag pouches, the CR 2000 I believe. I wanted to try them on single stack 1911 magazines, but I don't know which inserts to use. I've looked over the instructions, but they say absolutely nothing about the single stack set up. Does anyone happen to know which combo I needed with the little pieces and hardware? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I've read elsewhere that if you put in the Beretta insert, upside down it works. I just tried one and it does fit a magazine. It doesn't hold it very well because there is almost no tension adjustment, but it does fit. If it were mine, I'd either make another spacer or just get different holders.

Thanks guys, I think I've got it figured out. Again, I just felt like a complete tool having to ask. Anyway, time to enjoy them and head out to the range this weekend.

Initially, I was going to be taking my girlfriend out to the Richmond range to watch the practices and match on Sunday, but she's still a bit shy and wants actual range time before going out to something like this. I'm hoping Frank can get the sights in on the Glock she's going to be shooting just so she gets a better feeling. We might end up just at the San Leandro range for her to get more used to the gun and become more comfortable with handling it.

I don't know about you or your girlfriend, but I really don't enjoy putting holes in paper. The guys and gals up at Richmond are good at making a new shooter feel at home and I wouldn't go just to watch...take your guns, bullets and stuff, shoot and have fun.

We are going to be up at Richmond practicing this Saturday, see if your buddy Big Mike is going and join us.

                    Hey Johnny,

Actually, there's been a change of plans. I'm going to be helping Mike install the parts on his bike tomorrow, and then go up to Richmond on Sunday. Sarah is still a bit intimidated by the Glock, so she wants a bit more "standard" range time with it before we try anything else. Thanks for the invite, we'll see you guys out there on Sunday if anything.
