    rolling targets

ok im looking on calguns for some metal target ideas to put a range (personal and maybe some friends) on my property. I think i have what i want to build in my head, gongs spinners ect(all deflecting the bullet into the ground)
I looked at the rolling targets that roll when you hit them.
Is it just me that sees these as very dangerous? any bullet hitting them will ricochet off up into the air, not my idea of safe shooting

Shot a bunch of those Do-All rolling targets and didn't see/hear any ricochets. You get more zingers out of steel targets imo. If you set one out there on the range it will probably be shot the most, they are fun but I don't think they will last the 10k rounds as advertised. So, fun but not sure about the investment.

The rolling targets I have are made of a soft polymer, so no ricochet hazard. If you are thinking of a flat round steel plate that rolls like a rabbit, then that should be fine. I've shot them a bunch at local matches and never had an issue.
