Having been shooting for 30+ years I am always impressed by really good shooters and even more so by those shooters who can share their skills successfully with others so they become better. This course was one of the best in that regard!
I wanted my two sons (27 &25) to experience Voodoo and Hollywood on the range, so I thought this would be a great time. I was NOT let down! Turns out there were several others who had not taken a FOG course before and they were accomodated nicely. FOG broke the 30 person (=/-) class into two groups and had enough instructors to be very safe and attentive.
The smaller, novice, group received the sole attention of Hollywood. Because basics are important, Hollywood essentially provided a full pistol (am) and carbine (pm) course to the group. Wow, that guy has so much energy he makes me tired watching him! And can he shoot - he was shooting flies off the target at 7yds with a Glock 17! His attention to detail for every student was amazing and both my sons came out much better shooters than they went in. Hell, I was only an observer/camera operator and learned some stuff!
If you have never experienced a FOG course, you must do it.
Thanks Hollywood and Voodoo (and the other staff) for another great learning experience. You have made a difference in my son's lives.
