USPSA Range Officer Certification Class: Who's interested

i was talking to Jojo today at Norco about them putting on a RO Cert class so a bunch of us can get our certification. Endersby gave it the thumbs up. we need at least a couple dozen people. there hasnt been one of these in so cal in a decade and there probably wont be another one for another decade. if we can get enough people to ante in we can make this happen.

    so who's in?

not only can you RO at major matches and i think you get a cool patch or pin or mug or something, but the next time someone tries to DQ you or one of your buddies at a match you'll be officially qualified to: "I call B***S***! thats not in the rule book!"

ha ha i've always wanted to do that.

I might be interested in coming up for the class from San Diego - can we do it all in one day?

yeah i think endersby is in and he's the right person to do it since he's area director for us, and he's always on these rule committees for rule changes. i've talked to him about it a few times over the last few months and i cant speak for him, but from what he's told me he wants to do one for sure. and when me and jojo asked him on saturday he was all thumbs up.

i think him and jojo just want to know that for sure X number of people are going to actually show up.

Richmond has a NROI Level 1 Class (30 shooters, very FULL ) on the 14 & 15 of July. Factor in 2 full days. Day 1 all classroom. Day 2 on the range. If you have not had a Level 1 class in that long.It is due to no one contacting USPSA and setting one up There was a Level 1 class just last year before the GBC up at Sac Valley. We also have a Level II class for the same weekend.

Still pretty new to the sport, but would definitely be interested, as long as I have the day(s) off...
