For those that follow my channel/journey, this may be confusing since this is technically my 10th Classifier that I've shot. BUT, this is my first classifier in Limited Optics instead of Open, where I've been shooting. Everyone at the matches have been telling me to get out of Open Minor since I'm at a disadvantage and also shooting the wrong pistol for the division on top of having the highest HHF's.
And I forgot to mention, this was my first stage of the day on top of me trying occluded dot for the first time ever, haha.
My very first try at LO! I decided since there isn't major scoring it might be a better division to try out. Using a Glock 34 here.
Definitely was happy to kick off my LO with a run well into the B Class territory!

With clean hits and the same time, would have been 77.92%, A Class Run! On top of that there was a ton of opportunity to clean up wasted time by not having the gun up early enough and/or changing the stage plan to take the middle target on the move.
This shows how important it is to still get your hits and is encouraging to know that with more practice I can earn my way to A Class with the same time! Clean up stage plan, movement and get that darn gun up and who knows.
Come to find out my zero was a couple inches to the right on this pistol as well!
Got that sorted, so it should be easier to get my hits moving forward.
In less than 4 months of shooting USPSA I've learned more about my shooting, and fundamentals than probably the rest of my life combined. It's a ton of fun on top of being a skill builder whether you want it to or not. You can use it to dramatically improve your skills, or just go and have fun. I'd much rather go shoot the 100-200 rounds at a match than go to the static range anymore.
