Firearm choice

I'm kind of new to the competition shooting scene and was wondering about some things.

If I were to run a Glock 19, a Mossberg 590A1, and a Daniel Defense M4V7 with no optics, how would that rig compare to other 3-gun set-ups?

Also, for IDPA matches, are there any suggestions for a modestly priced holster for the Glock 19?

I think your rig is fine for just starting out. Since your rifle has no optics, you'd probably want to compete in Limited Division as that Division has only iron sights or a red dot. Most shooters run a semi auto shotgun but a pump will work fine.

Pala, Piru and West End Gun Club are the closest clubs to you. Search this thread for those match announcements.

For holsters, try Blade Tech, Comp Tac or Ready Tactical.
