what timer to get??

I have been looking at getting a competition timer for my trips out to the desert. there are quite a few different timers listed on on Midwayusa.com
my question is, what is the best bang for my buck? i really don't want to break the bank on something like this (just married, wife in school) so i would like to keep some money in the bank, just wondering what all ya'lls opinion is!

Cant go wrong with a CED. We use them at both of the local IPSC clubs and they are very reliable with more features than you will ever use.

I have a ce and a ced. Of all the ones i've tried I like the pact timer the best. It's got the best buzzer.
