    Hi all,
I'm looking for a long range shooting school. Any suggestions would be great.

Look up Dan Flowers at LMS.
There are no great men. Just great challenges which ordinary men, out of necessity, are forced by circumstance to meet.

What do you consider long range? What is the end goal i.e. competition(if so what competition), hunting, pre-deployment tune-up, LE getting on a tactical team...?

Though the basics are the same, one may get more out of a school that has a greater focus on your end goal. Learning to shoot PALMA course iron-sights is cool but as applicable as spending quality time with the gear in the enivronment you want to work/play in.

I'm hoping to learn the basics of long range with an emphasis on hunting 1000yds out.

Then come on out. We start you at 100 yards and work you out further. Includes teaching of reading the wind, range estimation, and all the other pieces necessary to be able to be successful for long range shooting.

The Precision Marksman 2 course at BullsEye Tactical Firearms Training (scroll down to the rifle courses) includes learning to shoot at the distances you mentioned.

Shooting clinic put on by NCPPRC is what you need.

The U.S.M.C. has one of the best schools in the world if you don't mind 4-6 years of training.
