FALCON TRAINING SCHEDULE UPDATE!!!

OK,

So, most of you have ask, emailed, text or called and said, Hey Voodoo, when are you going to post the schedule so that we can register for courses.

Well, its mid-night and better late than never.

Please visit us at falconsecurity.us and click on the 2011 Schedule Tab to see the courses being offered from July - December. Yes, the second half of the year has been posted and we will start working on 2012 very soon as well.

However, for the Law Enforcement / Military students that happen to see this, your courses may or may not be displayed as this is something that FALCON usually does not advertise.

Anyone in the SoCal area that wants to learn from a top notch crew, I highly recommend taking courses from Falcon. Have taken their pistol, medical and just took the pistol rifle combo today. Outstanding instructors, tons of shooting with more high speed instruction than you will get from any video. These guys are such good shooters that they were literally shooting flies off the paper targets....with pistols.

The Tactical Pistol 1 class has a pre-requisite, however you don't have that class scheduled. Can the Entry Level / Safety Pistol Course be skipped if you can demonstrate safe handling?

I'm generally fine with that, but they don't have a level 1 class scheduled, and I really don't expect to start at level 1 each time I go to a new school.

Send voodoo an email. He's pretty good about responding. depending on which schools you've been to, he may give you the go ahead to start at level 2. Personally, I've taken their level 1 & 2 class several times...and learn a lot each time.

Agreed with above - you will learn - no matter what your skill level is.

And they do communicate very well, professionally. Nice, awesome guys.

Geeknow, you didn't really answer the question. The "Tactical Pistol I" class has the following prerequisites: "General Handgun Safety Course", but there are none scheduled.

Does your school require everyone, no matter their skill level, to take the "General Handgun Safety Course" or can this class be skipped if I can demonstrate safe handling?

Geeknow does not work for Falcon and neither do I, but from the 8 or so classes I have taken with Falcon, I can tell you that as long as you can demonstrate safe handling just the same as you would at any shooting range, then you are OK to take a Tac 1 class with Falcon.

Thanks for the clarification. These classes look interesting and are pretty close to me. I just didn't want to spend $150 for a class that is geared toward the first time shooter.

Register for one if you can. Some courses that other companies offer take about 2-3 days for a pistol or carbine level 1 course. With Falcon you can learn it in 1 day. It is a medium fast pace course. Not to mention you have instructors that are pretty funny with their jokes.

I'll be taking the shotgun course on July 10th.
