WRIST SHOCK REDUCTION?

[RaymondMillbrae]

Hey shooters,

just curious to know if any local competitive shooters have tried this.

UNIQUE-TEK SHOOTERS SHOCK ABSORBER

It reminds me of the shock absorbers they use in the stocks of high power rifles.

Anyone have any input?

I bought one and used it once. My wrist didn't hurt afterwards but I was unable to collect any scientific data that either supports or denounces what it is advertised to do.

Only once?

Is there a reason you ONLY used it once?

Care to sell it off at a "used item" price?

I'd be willing to give it a try if the price was right.

I'm a sucker for gadgets...if I see that they may work.

Well between the rain and the holiday season, I haven't had time to go to the range. I plan on testing it out some more since I am moving away from creampuff loads to full power loads.

I had one from some company years ago,I think it had mercury in it,but it bugged me, claims stops vibration ,well adding a weight to your gun or wrist will do the same, but like lots of things ,if you try it and like it or percieve it helps then it does, when I used to shoot 80-90,000 rds a year was fine when I was younger but as I got older found that wristwraps, wrist and hand strengthening exercises, and ice kept tendonitis away better than anything.

I saw someone at Richmond using one of those yesterday.. wasn't sure what it was.. at this point, I'll try just about anything to get my wrist and hand stop hurting after shooting my revo..
