USPSA Limited Div Pistol Modification Question

The rules specifically prohibit external modification that reduce recoil. I am thinking about doing the grip reduction on my glock and might add a beavertail while I am at it. The beavertail can help control recoil, so my question is can this addition of the beavertail be considered an external modification? What about for IPDA?

No-go for IDPA SSP or USPSA Production but fine for IDPA ESP or USPSA Limited.

For SSP and I can't even do the grip reduction. Well I guess its ESP and Limited for me then.

Limited is similar to open.. the only difference really is the prohibition of Compensators and optics on a Limited gun.. you can make it heavier, lighter, do any kind of trigger work, and can even have a slide racker on the limited gun.. 40 cal for major, anything under that is scored minor regardless if you make major or not. Mag length max is 140 MM.
