    AR Training

I am gonna be picking up my new AR in a couple weeks and I was wondering if there is somewere I can go and get the proper training on it. For fieldstripping, cleaning, and of course the proper shooting techniques, etc. In the San Jose area.

The LMS Defense 1 day carbine clinic would be perfect for you.
LMS Defense is a coordinated group of professional weapons and tactics instructors. We provide training to concerned citizens as well as law enforcement and special tactics teams both here in the United States and in friendly foreign nations.

Unfortunately they're not having it in San Jose til March. They are having one in Sacramento in February.

Some Google searching will yield plenty of info on field-stripping and cleaning. If you can read and/or watch videos you don't need training for that.

AR training in San Jose area

Hey there, we are going to hold a basic Carbine class in Morgan Hill in Feb or early March. It is a full 9 hour day- not the cheesy 5 hour classes. Cost is $150. Check out our website at www.WestCoastTacticalTraining.com or email us at TacticalTrainingAssociates@gmail.com. We are current full time LE as well as Instructors. We have been teaching Bay Area Police Officers for the past 9 years, and recently decided to share the training with law abiding civilians. Disregard the calander on the website, we are currently updating it.
        Hope this helps...
