Any pistol competition in LA/OC area?

Hi, just wondering if there is any pistol competition in my area. I though it would be interesting to observe other shooters.
I apologize ahead, when I'm tire/sleepy, my 3rd world English will sneak out.

Yep. 3rd Sat of every month at 7:30a.m. at On Target in Laguna Niguel we have an IDPA style tournament either, pistol, pistol shotgun or 3 gun even some low light/no light scenarios.

I believe Prado IDPA still has their events on the 3rd Sat. as well.

Prado has IDPA on the first and third Sat of each month. Here's their website. http://www.prado-idpa.com/

Prado is USPSA on the 1st and 3rd Sundays

There is a steel only match on the 1st and 3rd at Norco

IMHO, watching IDPA/USPSA is pretty boring unless you're familiar with the sport. Actually participating, however, is insanely fun.

I recommend you bring gun, gear, and ammo. Leave it in the trunk if you're not sure, but it's better to have it. Who knows, you might just find yourself being invited to go get it.

norco, prado, ISI, and SWP are all good places...
if you haven't shot the sport before, show up at norco at 8:30 and get on Jojo's squad.
Jojo is a world champion pistol shooter and he always takes the first timers with him.
He's really good at getting people started.
don't be shy about bringing your gear and shooting on your first day, just be conscious and safe at your first match and you'll have allot of fun.
                    cheers,
                    Los.
