Heres, another good course put on by active civilian contractors.

We teach good people to kill bad people. Professional firearms training, tactical gear, and expert instruction from experienced professionals.

Probably nothing wrong with the place, based off the credentials of the owner. Would be good to see who any other course instructors are, just to get an idea of who else may be involved.

My only snarky comment is regarding "California's Top Professional Weapons Training School Since 2000". Uh..... Yeah. Considering that in SoCal alone there's ITTS, TFTT & FTA it's kinda difficult to make that particular claim stand, at least in my humble opinion.

I've taken a CCW course from the WTS folks. John Popke is a good instructor who knows his stuff yet doesn't come off as a Rambo wannabe. One of these days I'll take some of their tactical courses....

Just finished my CCW class there, after reading about it here. I'd highly recommend them!

To the original poster- have you checked out LMS Defense? Great group of guys to train with. I've taken a few classes with them so far.

Care to elaborate on your Tactical Response experience? What's the "proper mindset" that made the class so useful? Thanks.
