FYI the August 2010 +P class will be Intermediate Handgun - Focused on One handed shooting and shooting from unusual positions.
Date: 8/28/10 8AM to 5:30PM
Where: Pala Range - End of Henderson Rd Pala CA. www.ncsapala.com
Cost: $100 inc. range fees
Need: handgun,strongside holster, spare magazines or speed loaders, 150 rounds
weather appropriate clothing, no shorts or tank tops, close toed shoes/boots.
Water and some chow. Pala is a primative range. Folding chairs, note taking materials, knee pads and ground cover are encouraged.
Lots of one handed shooting - dominate and non-dominate hands.
Non-dominate presentations of the handgun from the holster.
Reloading and malfunction clearing- one handed.
Ground fighting techniques with the handgun.
Wounded shooter drills.
Use of cover.
