Riflke, pistol and shotgun. Shooting one, two or all three in a single stage.. the most expensive of the shooting sports.. lolGuns should not have batteries

You do not want to know about 3 gun, I repeat you do not want to get involved in 3 gun, unless you are a lottery winner. As BerKim stated it is "the most expensive of the shooting sports.... LOL!
If you enjoy shooting IDPA or USPSA with your pistol, 3 gun is 3 times the fun.If you can't shoot good, at least look good shootingComment

Corrected for you. For me, the pistol is a defensive weapon so I dont see the point of practicing hitting a plate rack on the clock. Now ramming a door open with a 12ga and knocking over steel targets or shooting bowling pins with an AR at 25+yds while running in circles is my kind of party.Last edited by joelogic; 06-07-2010, 9:33 PM.Comment

Sounds like two more guns than I can afford.

I was told once that its not the price of the plane that gets you its the maintenance and other expenses. You can expect to pay the same amount for the maintenance/expenses as for the plane over the first 5 years.
Shooting is the same way if you are barely afford the gun then you definately cant afford to get good at shooting it.Comment

Good insight, Joe.
Bottom line...work hard, play harder.

Be careful, it's addictive. You start with stuff borrowed from your friends, maybe a Mini-14 and a Remmy 870.
Next thing you know you "need" an AR and a Benelli. Then you find yourself traveling to matches.
I never heard of a 1st timer saying "well that sucked, I think I'll go play golf'sigpicComment
