I think you have legit points except the body armor one, that makes your entire post sound like a hater.

I have yet to attend a Level 1 or level 2 training course be it pistol/carbine that required body armor. The only time I have seen body armor worn were by LEO or Military. I have yet to see a civilian dawn body armor in a firearms training course and I have seen at least 100 civilians in total for all the courses I've taken in California and Nevada.

You said you like training at SVSC, do you wear body armor when you do it? Do all your classmates? If so what courses are you taking that require body armor in SVSC and do they provide their own for people that don't have it like TFTT? I'd be interested to know because I'd like to take that level of training in NorCal.

Yes, body armor at all times, classmates and instructors... body armor is provided if you do not have your own by the company I've trained with...

Body armor is not required by Sac Valley Shooting Center...
