    Front Sight in May

Anyone going to Front Sight in May?

I am taking my gunsmith and his only employee to Front Sight for their first time May 14th for the 4 day Defensive Handgun class. If any CGers are gonna be there, it would be great to meet you.

Im also going to double back myself May 26th for a 2 day skill builder as well. I have not been to FS this year yet and need to stay on track for my 4-5 times a year goal.

    Hope to see you there!
Any Questions about Front Sight memberships or specific information about attending, Feel Free to send me a PM!

I may make it out if a couple of buddies get their acts together and decide to go. I am already in for the skill builder at the end of June. Bet its going to be HOT.

Yeah, it is the only class that starts in the middle the week for the whole year. I wish there were more because my days off are in the middle of the week and I dont need to make special arrangements.

I have not taken any of the night classes yet, but I may check and see if I can fit one of those in for July....See, your a trouble maker!

Looking forward to meeting you if you guys make it. Oh yeah, if you have not booked your rooms yet, Pahrump is booked pretty solid over the 13-16 weekend...i got a room for the 13th and the 16th, but Im going to have to stay in Vegas 24-25 or at Cynthias hostel on the CA side..unless there are cancellations. The may 26th skill builder i had no trouble getting a room..

I work Friday, Sat as well! I wish there were more midweek classes. I thought if FS expanded, they would have to offer more midweek classes to accomodate. I didn't think they would add more ranges! Just think of check-in and parking on weekends now!

What/where is Cynthias Hostel? Is it closer to FS than Vegas?

I talked to the folks at the Hostel and asked them how far they were from FS and they said 20 miles...So yeah, its closer then vegas... Keep in mind that its on the CA side so open carry and CCW with a Nevada permit is a no no...

We're going to drive over for the April 29th thru May 2nd four day and can haul ammo if anyone is going to fly. All the hotels are booked in Pahrump so we'll take a travel trailer and are going to leave it there until we go back on May 26th for the advanced tactical. We could haul ammo for some one that trip too.

The Silverton Hotel is on Blue Diamond rd in Vegas and adds only 15 minutes to the trip vice the hotels in Pahrump. I stay there because I like the hotel better, and there is more to do around Vegas if you have any energy left after a day at Front Sight. The hostel in Cali would be a very distant choice for me at least. Have fun at your classes!!!
