Am I correct in assuming at the rimfire match at USI tomorrow (1/31), start position is from low ready? or is it from a holster?

No holsters needed and you will need a minimum of 3 magazines for each gun. Start low, ready.

Typically DAP closes sign-ups at 8:30.
