I've done this class and I can honestly tell you low or no light conditions are one thing to talk about and another thing to actually do.

When we did this class, there was NO moonlight at ALL, the ONLY light you had was your flashlight or the guy next to you.

At 5 yards you couldn't see the target it was that dark.

We all wore glow in the dark rings on our belts to make sure you could see each other in the pitch black. There was only a slight glow from the nearby city lights of Escondido and Valley Center.

If you decide to take this class, bring a GOOD light with extra batteries and make SURE your weapon has night sights.

The muzzle flash alone with mess with your eyesight something fierce, so will the on-off-on again of the light. If you get a chance to run the TONC trail after the class, it's a blast and EXTREMELY HARD in the pitch black.

        Highly recommended.
