Basic Carbine Private Lesson?

Just got my first AR a few weeks back. Never fired one before. Am doing an ITTS class end of January on the carbine (very impressive school done 2 of their other classes) but I would really like to go to the range and get some "basics" down for an hour or so. I use the Angeles firing range. Any recommendations for a good private tutor? (I did get a quote for $100 per hour min 2 hours but thats a bit steep for me)

If you were in NorCal Bay Area, I would do it for free. No matter what level you are at or want to be, you can't go wrong with purchasing Magpul's training videos.

Come to Rainbow range, that's just south of Temecula. I can do it for free or for a dozen of beer.
