Anyone attened classes at TFTT? http://www.tftt.com/

The course descriptions sound great. The pricing compared to similiar classes are very affordable. The only downside is the entry level stuff is not on their upcoming scheduel (in otherwords I discovered them too late in the year).

An instructor I just met trained with them before his last deployment and says they are great.

Just curious if anyone has taken their courses.

TFTT has been around a long time before everyone opened up training schools. Very solid program with great instructors.

The course descriptions made me drool. Felt like Homer Simpson looking through the window at a donut shop.

I haven't trained with TFTT, but I have trained with LMS Defense who is also in your area. These guys are top notch if you get the opportunity.

LMS Defense is a coordinated group of professional weapons and tactics instructors. We provide training to concerned citizens as well as law enforcement and special tactics teams both here in the United States and in friendly foreign nations.

LMS puts on some great training. I've been wanting to try TFTT's classes. Perhaps I'll take some time off and do one of their classes in LA.

I went to college with one of the instructors. He is a solid guy and know his stuff. I saw that he also writes articles for SWAT magazine. Though I haven't seen him for a couple years, last time I talked to him was right before he went to Iraq. I do know several other LEO that have attended there courses and say nothing but good things about there programs.

Very cool. Now to find a course that fits and a time frame that fits. The scheduel was a little light from here on out. Hopefully more classes are forth coming.

I was looking at the Tactical Medicine (might be calling by the wrong name) from LMS Defense since it is being offered soon. However, I will be just returning from Front Sight earlier that week, and will likely be flat broke and dog tired. The instructor for class is top notch. I just took a CCW course with him.

Max Joseph is a good guy with real world experience. Ive taken classes with him for many years. He is an old salty dog and has all the knowledge. I would definately recommned his courses. Youll also have lots of fun.

I have taken his level 1 and 2 pistol classes...Execellent teacher...Talks like the marine that he is...Got to love somebody that will run a drill, have a weapon malfunction, transition to a kneeling position and access a secondary weapon and spit chewing tobacco all at the same time....

Teaches out at Burro canyon off to the side, so its out in the middle of nowhere but well worth the drive. He gives lectures between drills and provides a lot of information and theory that if you go onto the level 3 class, you have to regurgetate 100% in a written exam, but you will know your stuff when you take a class with Max...

You will be wearing body armour for the class...DO NOT be the last person to arrive to the class as you will get the off pink body armour....I am glad that there were no pictures that day.. p.s. he is providing that free of charge when I took the classes...Being on time is a pet peeve of Max's...If he say's be there at 8am, plan on 7:30-7:45 to put on gear and load up mags

At the end of the 2nd day, we ran an Obstacle Course with varying positions of fire and targets to engage. A lot of fun. Also has other instructors come out and help, they all have similar experience as Max...Jason is a hoot...

Also, no official lunch break, you eat between lectures...Also no bathroom so you have to find a tree....

I enjoyed my classes and I loved his lectures especially the 7 fundementals of marksmanship and the stories that he told between drills.

Thank you High Side and others for the kind words regarding LMS Defense. For what its worth Max Joseph is on my short list of trainers to take a course from. I have never heard anything but compliments and praise from anyone that has trained with TFTT. All of their instructors have been described as true professionals.

I have several family members, relatives, and friends in LAPD and LASD who trained with them or took their classes in the past and all have the utmost respect for the instructors at TFTT. They and everyone else I hear, say they are real deal bad-asses with LOTS and LOTS of real combat experience. So I don't think you have anything to worry about or should have any hesitations take a course.

TFTT courses are GTG. Max knows his stuff. If you get a chance take one of his classes.

Go take a class in Sac at the end of the month and report back. I am sure it will be a positive experience
