    Try shooting a match

I've seen a number of post from shooters around the LA. area and some shoot at Angeles Shooting Range. If your out there on the first saturday of the month head down to the right of the pistol shooters. There you will find the LARC rifle club or the third sunday the Golden Bears rifle club shooting the NRA Highpower rifle match. Bring out your new OLL and get into a match. They shoot a 100 yd reduced match Standing, Sitting rapid , prone rapid and slow prone. You will need 60 rounds. Lots of fun and a great introduction to highpower. Look for a guy named Tom Temple, with questions or just show up with your rifle. Let him know your shooting a fixed mag he''ll get you started. In recent year California has sucessfully chased away the new competition shooters due in a great part to expence. With re-introduction of the OLL Young and old can afford to shoot competitive rifle. Have fun. Thanks Nile.

    Yes, See little Tommy Temple.....

He's a great guy and will usually be dressed in some sort of military garb,
