Story on Front Sight - acquired by prairie fire

After filing for bankruptcy in May 2022, Front Sight Training Facility may head under new management as PrairieFire steps in to take control.

    Interesting read

I'm wondering if the 25million is worth it for the 550 lead covered acres.

Build a senior living facility in one part, trailer park in another, apartments

Say they will take over and then convert to just residential homes.
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

A friend that used to instruct there, and was also involved in the first class actioned mentioned water rights.
Does anyone know the status of those going forward?
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?

It reads like a more solvent competitor to Front Sight is taking them over. Piazza is O-U-T, and they will provide training, and a competition venue.

Ambitious as well, so we'll see.

Current Front Sight members will get a few years membership with Prairie, which in all honesty is a good move to try and get them on the hook with the new program. That's probably going to be the easy members to get at first.

Ya know............. I went on about the speculation of sustainability about Prairie Fire in another thread.

One thing remains that dominates anything going forward.

********PrairieFire is set to acquire Front Sight in a potential $24 million deal pending bankruptcy process and confirmation, according to court documents filed in Nevada.*********

*******Wilson said pending confirmation from the bankruptcy court, the company envisions a place for*********

********As part of its revamp and pending approval, PrairieFire would introduce a*********

We can all be song and danced all over again with this business model, but FIRST Prairie has to deliver the goods to the courts and creditors. Otherwise it will continue to be a vacant lot waiting for a buyer that can close Escrow.

Everything FS sold/gave goes away once the bankruptcy goes through. The new owner (likely Prairie Fire) does not have to give existing FS members anything. The current assumption based on their documentation they submitted to the court, is existing FS members will be given some kind of low level membership.

I kind of agree. I've mentioned it other threads, but I can't see the PF model working on that big of a scale. Wouldn't mind being proven wrong, but jsut don't see it.
