This is a basic class that will cover zeroing your rifle, mechanical offset, sight alignment, trigger and breathing control, Loading /unloading, type I and type III malfunctions, shooting positions (standing, kneeling, prone), and care/maintenance

Cost - $150.00

Contact Sacramento Black Rifle for payment or you can purchase the class at www.stonecobratactical.com. All payments due three days prior to course. There will be a fifty percent cancellation fee, unless prior arrangements have been made with Stone Cobra Tactical staff.

Needed:

Good attitude, AR-15 series rifle (To be inspected by Instructor), Eye/Ear protection, 300 rounds, Minimum 3 magazines, Pants with cargo pockets (Recommended), Knee/elbow pads (Highly Recommended), Hat / Sunscreen, Water / Hydrate! Hydrate!

Bring your lunch; we will be eating on the range!

Training day 7-25-09

I too attended the days class and it was everything I wanted my first tactical class to be. Jason and his partner Aaron were top notch instructors, they took there time working with the newbs like myself helping us get zeroed before the real fun started. I can not say it enough Stone Cobra Tactical
put on a great day. I cant wait to do the September class and would recommend anyone looking for any sort of tactical training to click the link above and join Jason and his guys for the next class.

Thanks again to Rob at Sacramento Black Rifle for his help and to Jason and Aaron for a great experience and look forward to doing it all again and this time we wont have to start from scratch.

I took the class today. The instructors, Jason and Aaron, were both awesome, and the entire class improved as the day went on. Really says a lot for their expertise. While i am reasonably comfortable with the AR platform, this was an excellent opportunity to become more familiar, and have a lot of fun doing it. I noticed a few things I was doing early on, that instantly improved my ability. Jason said his next class is in September, sign me up! I cant wait! Thank you Sacramento Black Rifle for providing gear and drinks, I know some of us really appreciated it.

I would recommend Stone Cobra Tactical training to everyone, from the amateur, to the pro. Everyone will take something away from the class.

I would like to thank everyone for attending the Basic Black Rifle Class. It definately makes it easier to instruct when you have outstanding students. I know at the end it was hot and everyone was getting tired. Thanks for pushing through on the last Competition course and good job to Corey for taking home the prize. Rifle Class

I attended the rifle class that Stone Cobra put on yesterday. I just wanted to say thanks for the professionalism that both Jason and Aaron showed in the way they instructed all of us. I learned so much and by the end of the day, my AR skills had improved drastically. I also wanted to say thanks to Sacramento Black Rifle for being there and providing help when we had issues with our AR's. To those of you who haven't had the opportunity to take a rifle class, I definitely reccommend you check out Stone Cobra Tactical for your training needs.

I've been waiting for some carbine courses around Sacramento...good to see you guys up and running. This weekend didn't work due to family obligations, but keep posting your course calendar up on Calguns, and I look forward to getting out there soon.

Doh! Just saw that your next course is Labor Day weekend. Bummer for me.
