    3-Gun Buddy

Looking for friend/coach for equipping and training in 3-Gun. Have CCW training & common sense, now looking for a more active way to train and am seeking one-on-one coaching...not the typical 5 day course stuff. I just think it would be more fun (and I'd learn faster) shooting with someone who knows the ropes and competes. I know it's a big ask but I'm a good guy who springs for steaks and beers after. I'm in So. OC, have guns-will travel.
Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000.
The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.

Piru says they have a course but I have not done 3-Gun and have no personal experience doing it. Still in the gearing up stage.

Go watch a match, annoy some guys with your questions, get minimal gear, and go shoot the next one. Finish last, but don't worry about it.

After watching, you may decide, like I did, that a ridiculous shotgun reloading contest is not for you. It's not fun, costs a lot of money, is a terrible time sink just to practice enough to be minimally competent, and your time is better used somewhere else. Like 2 gun or PCC maybe.

I'm a traditional bow hunter...being humbled, challenged and spending money with little return is just my thing. LOL
