Looking for friend/coach for equipping and training in 3-Gun. Have CCW training & common sense, now looking for a more active way to train and am seeking one-on-one coaching...not the typical 5 day course stuff. I just think it would be more fun (and I'd learn faster) shooting with someone who knows the ropes and competes. I know it's a big ask but I'm a good guy who springs for steaks and beers after. I'm in So. OC, have guns-will travel.

Go watch a match, annoy some guys with your questions, get minimal gear, and go shoot the next one. Finish last, but don't worry about it.
After watching, you may decide, like I did, that a ridiculous shotgun reloading contest is not for you. It's not fun, costs a lot of money, is a terrible time sink just to practice enough to be minimally competent, and your time is better used somewhere else. Like 2 gun or PCC maybe.Comment
