on the other hand, they are a blast (pun intended) at multi-gun matches where it's a shotgun stage.

Actually we shot 15 stages only. Stage 1 was already an option on Friday and will be thrown out. Reason being, the winds were so strong on Friday the clothesline targets were not consistent, even going back up! Although the actual match was not as technical as on the matchbook, we still had lots of fun.

How was parking on the weekends? We were thinking its going to be tough during main match. What time did the awarding start? Part of our SoCal trip was Disneyland: our wives were getting irritated because we kept on refreshing Practiscore on our phones, =). We didn't see the results I think until 9pm or so.

I agree, the parking wasn't bad at all and my squad was done well before the estimated 2:45PM on both days.

And "Dear God yes!" When it comes to placing awards in a bag to be handed out during the match. I didn't stick around for the prizes/awards so I didn't want to comment on it. I'm a big fan of handing out the sponsor prizes during the match and running the raffle during the awards.

Oh wow! All 16 in one day sounds intense. The parking wasn't much of an issue and there was someone at the entrance to help make sure people knew where to park.

Yeah, the 9PM update left a bit to be desired for the "trackers" (even the final scores were posted on the evening). I would imagine that they posted them after they got back home. And for anyone who has helped at a major, we all know that the declared end time for each day isn't the end of the day for the staff. Plus, the terrain probably doesn't help for wireless service. I was definitely "that dummy" who was standing in the open hoping for signal LOL.

Please don't bring logic and reason into an internet discussion.

I shot the Rocky Mountain ICORE Championship last year in Colorado. I hate to piss on anyone's parade, but they were first stuffing goodie bags at check in.

I had fun, but at about 4:30 after the match I was tired of sitting around, and just left. Even though I'm retired and have plenty of free time, I don't want to waste it.

Yeah! I would say that RO on Stage #2 was so cool...!!! I think one of the best ROs I have ever had... Thanks Cuban!!!

That said - 22 out of 77 in the division for that stage... Not bad for someone that only has dry practice, uses factory ammo and complete stock internals (even springs) in a Glock

Yup! The ceremony went on too long... Most of the shooters were already waiting on the Lot around 1:30~2:00... And it went around to 6:00... FOUR hours for a ceremony.

My goal (based on my perception of the Carry Optics landscape) was 95-100%. I've been a die-hard Production guy, but the reality is that most of the Production field has shifted over to Carry Optics. So, I committed to CO for this year.
Nice finish overall! Nice runs! I am bookmarking your runs for my own review - see where I can gain some efficiencies in my own runs... Especially considering that I am one heavy lumbering jack.

Thanks, Rodralig! There's also a lot to learn from my mistakes (e.g., Stage 16 was a disaster LOL).
